my daughter has been on my case for years to find a hobby and i finally did and now she says i talk about it too much π cant win. but seriously this course is the real deal. i made a bracelet for my book club friend carol and she showed up to the next meeting wearing it and three other women asked where she got it. carol told them i made it and my phone was blowing up that night. i was not prepared for that lol
the technique stuff is really thorough and i learned a ton. my only wish is that there was more guidance on color combinations, like a lookbook or something showing what works together and what doesnt. i spent a lot of my early attempts figuring that out on my own and wasted some material in the process. once i got my eye for color it was fine but a little more inspiration content would have saved me some time. still a really solid course overall
i bring my little portable setup to the park on weekends and work outside when its nice. you would not believe how many conversations it starts. people stop and watch and ask what im doing and i end up explaining the whole thing. have gotten four customers just from random park conversations lol. the course taught me well enough that i can explain it confidently to strangers now which i never expected. also its just really nice to do outside. 10/10 hobby
i started bringing my stuff to work and doing small things on my lunch break. my coworker janet kept watching me and asking questions and eventually i just sent her the link. she bought it that same week and now we compare pieces in the break room every day. our other coworkers think we've joined a cult lol. janet made her first sale before i did which i am still a little bitter about but in a loving way π great course, recommend to everyone including your coworkers apparently
homemade means it looks like a kid made it. handmade means it looks intentional and beautiful and worth buying. the course took me from the first to the second in about two weeks. i think the difference was understanding the finishing steps properly because thats where i was cutting corners before. now i take my time with every piece and the quality shows. one thing i would add is more guidance on packaging because presentation matters a lot when youre selling and i had to figure that out myself
reading some of these reviews where people are selling in week two and im like... it took me about six weeks before my pieces were good enough to show anyone. i dont say that to discourage people, i say it because i almost gave up thinking i was just bad at it. im not bad at it, i just needed more time. the course is good and the information is all there. some people are just slower learners and if youre one of them like me just stick with it because it clicks eventually
i know how this looks. girl buys course, makes money, leaves glowing review. but i genuinely have no reason to lie lol. i was unemployed for two months earlier this year and this kept me sane and also helped me make rent in february. i worked really hard at it and the course gave me the actual skills to make stuff worth buying. its not magic, you have to put in the time. but if you do the results are real. thats all i wanted to say
she grew up in a different era where everything had to be perfect and she does not hand out compliments easily. wore a pair of my earings to easter dinner and she looked at them for a long time and said they were elegant. i almost fell out of my chair. if this course can get a compliment out of my grandma dorothy it can do anything. she has since asked me to make her a set for her birthday which is the highest honor i have ever received
my therapist calls it grounding. i call it resin lol. something about mixing the colors and pouring and waiting just pulls me completely into the present moment and out of my own head. i have anxiety and this has become one of my most reliable tools for managing it. the course is what taught me how to do it properly so i wasnt wasting materials and getting frustrated. now its genuinely meditative. weird thing to say about jewelry making but its true"
i work from home so i use my lunch break to do resin stuff now. set up a mold, eat, come back and check on it. its become this weird little ritual that i look forward to every day. ive made 28 pieces in two months just from lunch breaks alone. sold 14 of them. its not my main income but its a real thing now and it started with this course. never thought id be someone who had a side hustle but here i am

i want to be upfront because i feel like a lot of reviews make it sound easier than it is. my first four pieces were genuinely bad. like not sellable at all. but i went back through the course each time and figured out what i was doing wrong and by attempt five something clicked. now my stuff looks really good and ive sold 11 pieces in the last month. the course is solid, i just think some people including me need more time to get there and thats ok
my daughter kept sending me tiktoks of people doing resin and i finally caved and bought this mostly to get her to stop sending me videos lol. turns out its actually really fun? i dont even wear much jewelry myself but i love making it. gave most of my pieces away as gifts and everyone acted like i spent a ton of money on them. my neighbor offered to pay me for a custom piece last week and i almost said no because it still doesnt feel real that people want to buy my stuff
i thought id be making and selling pieces within like a week. realistically it took me closer to three weeks before my stuff looked good enough to sell. not complaining because the course is genuinely helpful, i just went in with unrealistic expectations i think. once i got past the learning curve everything clicked and now i can make a solid piece in an evening. currently at 11 etsy sales after about six weeks which feels pretty good for a beginner
i work 12 hour shifts three days a week and the other days i do resin. its the most different thing from my job that i could have picked and thats exactly why it works. when im working on a piece my brain completely switches off from everything else. ive made about 50 pieces over the past four months, sold around 30 of them, and i genuinely think this hobby has made me better at my actual job because i come in more rested. the course is excellent by the way, very clear and well organized, i just wanted to give some context for why i love this so much
made a necklace for my sister's birthday not expecting much of a reaction. she posted it on facebook. i now have eight family members asking for custom pieces for christmas. eight. in april. they're already planning ahead. i need more molds
it was just a little pendant but i made it myself and it was actually pretty and i dont know i just got emotional lol. been a rough few months and this was the first time in a while i felt like i was good at something
i have like four courses sitting in my email that i bought and never opened. this one i finished in eight days. i dont fully understand why except that the results come fast enough that you stay motivated. like you do a module and then you make a thing and the thing looks good and you want to do the next module. its a good loop. ive now made enough pieces to fill a small shop and i finally opened my etsy last week after putting it off forever. got my first sale on day two which i was not expecting at all. my roommate screamed louder than i did when the notification came in lol
module 3 moved kinda fast and i had to rewatch it twice. everything before and after was great tho
was stuck inside, saw an ad, bought it. best impulse decision ive made in years
three months ago i didnt know what resin was. now i have an etsy shop, a dedicated crafting corner in my apartment, more molds than i have storage for, and a waitlist of three people who want custom pieces. i also spent way too much on glitter but thats a separate issue. the course is what made all of this possible, like genuinely i would have had no idea where to start without it. the way it breaks everything down makes it feel totally doable even if youre a complete beginner which i absolutely was. my mom keeps forwarding my etsy link to her friends without telling me which is both embarrassing and kind of the best thing ever
working nights is rough on your social life and your brain. i get home around 7am and instead of just going straight to sleep i do an hour of resin first and it genuinely helps me decompress. something about working with your hands just quiets everything down. the course is easy to follow even when youre tired which is saying something lol. ive made over 40 pieces now and have a small but steady stream of customers. didnt expect this to become such a big part of my routine
i tried to learn resin on my own from youtube for like two months and wasted so much material on failed pieces. so much. the course basically taught me in a week what i couldnt figure out in two months of trial and error. im a little annoyed at myself for not just buying it sooner honestly. the only thing keeping it at four stars is i think the module on finishing techniques could go a little deeper but overall really solid
i started saturday morning just to see what it was like and finished sunday night. i wasnt even trying to rush i just kept clicking next because it was actually interesting. started my first piece sunday afternoon while i was still going through the last modules. its curing right now as i type this and im kind of nervous to open it lol. will update but honestly even if it doesnt come out perfect i learned so much this weekend. really good course
someone should have warned me that this hobby has a shopping problem attached to it π i have approximately forty seven molds now and counting. BUT my pieces are really good and ive sold enough to justify the spending so technically its fine. the course is what got me to a level where my work looks professional enough to sell. before this i was just watching resin videos on tiktok wishing i could do it. now i do it. and i have too many molds.
i wont pretend my first three attempts were good because they werent lol. cloudy resin, sticky surfaces, one that just never cured properly. but i went back and rewatched the sections i thought i understood and realized i was skipping steps without knowing it. once i actually followed everything in order it clicked. so i guess my review is: the course is good, i was just impatient. three stars for my own mistakes basically π probably deserves four honestly
i have three kids under 8 so finding time for anything is basically impossible. but i do this after they go to bed and its become like my thing, my hour of quiet. the course videos are short enough that i can get through one or two before i pass out lol. ive made maybe 20 pieces in the past month and a half and sold 8 of them. nothing huge but honestly at this point im doing it more for the sanity than the money
im not super tech savvy so the whole online course thing was a little confusing at first, like i wasnt sure where to find everything. once i figured out how to navigate it though it was fine. the actual content is really good and easy to understand. im not a crafty person at all and i made a pair of earings that my sister in law literally thought i bought somewhere. she was shook lol. taking off one star just bc of the navigation thing at the start
